FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 27, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Jamal Murray (vs LAL – $7,300): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. Murray had 38.5 fantasy points against the Lakers on Oct. 25. And he always seems to play well against the Lakers, averaging 37.1 fantasy points in his last five games against them. He’s been hit-and-miss throughout this season, but the assists are there right now and the Nuggets offense can get hot in a hurry. I like the matchup. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a good matchup. Conley and Lowry may suffer from tough matchups against each other, leaving the door open for Murray to outperform both of them.
Trae Young (at MIA – $7,000): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Young was back up to 31.9 fantasy points against the Hornets on Nov. 25. Is minutes and production were way down in the two games prior to that, but that’s the life of being a rookie. The Heat have had a tough time against opposing point guards this season and we’ve seen Young put up monster games. Diagnosis: Rookie inconsistency is always there. But the matchup is good.
Lonzo Ball (at DEN – $6,700): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. Ball has been around value in his last three games, but his salary has jumped way up on Tuesday. That’s due the matchup as he always seems to dominate the Nuggets. He’s averaging 41.7 fantasy points in his last five games against the Nuggets, including 43.2 fantasy points in the Oct. 25 meeting. Diagnosis: The matchup is great, but it’s tough to trust Lonzo giving his scoring and assist inconsistency. He is rebounding well, but he’ll need more given the salary.
