Players costing $6,667 or under

Reggie Jackson (vs NY – $5,800): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Jackson has been over 37 fantasy points in his last two games. The matchups have been good as the Rockets and Suns don’t offer much defense. The Knicks are slightly better defensively, but still not great. Jackson should be able to get his points and assists in this one. Diagnosis: I like the matchup and he’s on a hot streak right now.

Emmanuel Mudiay (at DET – $5,700): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Mudiay has been outperforming Burke in recent contests, but Burke is getting more minutes and benefits from going against bench units. Plus, it’s very tough to fully trust Mudiay. He’s scoring well right now, but have you met Emmanuel Mudiay? He can drop off a cliff in a hurry. Diagnosis: He’s hot, but I’m finding Burke a bit more reliable.

Cory Joseph (at PHO – $4,800): Needs 20 fantasy points. Collison outperformed Joseph on Monday, so if you want to look at his direction, be my guest. He still gets more minutes, he just hasn’t played well for the majority of this season. Meanwhile, Joseph has been playing very well, still gets plenty of minutes, and is at a much lower salary. I still like Joseph, who is reliable if nothing else at this salary. Diagnosis: Salary is good and Joseph always does enough to contribute.
