Players costing over $6,667

Blake Griffin (vs NY – $9,800): Needs 39.9 fantasy points. Griffin was down to 31.1 fantasy points against the Suns on Nov. 25. A disappointing number given the matchup and his ceiling. The rebounds weren’t there, but those typically aren’t a problem. That said, rebounds might be hard to come by against the Knicks with Drummond and Kanter in the lineup. He should still get points and assists. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup.

Pascal Siakam (at MEM – $7,500): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. Siakam was up to 43.7 fantasy points against the Heat on Nov. 25. He’s been great more often than not over the last month, but the Grizzlies are definitely a tough matchup. I’m still going to trust Siakam because he’s earned it at this point. He does a little bit of everything and his defense could be huge in this game. Him vs. Triple J is going to be awesome to watch. Diagnosis: Matchup is tough, but he’s earned this spot and I’ll trust him.

Domantas Sabonis (at PHO – $7,000): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. Sabonis had 36 fantasy points on Monday against the Jazz. The matchup was good as the Jazz were on a back-to-back and have been all over the place this season. Now, the Pacers are on a back-to-back. The good news is that they get to play the Suns. I’ll trust anyone against the Suns, especially a player like Sabonis who always contributes and contributes in multiple areas. Diagnosis: Playing well this season and a great matchup.
