Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Stats: 3,628 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, 186 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns

Patrick Mahomes has to be our featured quarterback this week in best lineup. Coming off a Week 12 bye, Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs look to bounce back after a Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. Mahomes leads the league in passing touchdowns with 37.

Even though he threw three interceptions in his last game, Mahomes passed for six touchdowns for the second time this season. He has been electric all season long and Week 13 grants him a very favorable matchup.

The Oakland Raiders have been downright pitiful this season. They have allowed 390 total yards, 238 passing yards, 151 rushing yards and 30 points per game. The Chiefs won’t have any problems scoring against this defense. Mahomes and his offense will have their way Sunday afternoon in Oakland.

The Chiefs are the No.1 seed in the AFC playoff picture heading into Week 13. They will want to put a staple on that and send a message that they are still the team to beat. This game should be an easy win and the starters might even sit in the fourth quarter.

Mahomes doesn’t have anything to build upon. Coming off a six touchdown game you can say he is playing exactly as he should be and if anything should keep the ball rolling and continue to make his case for NFL MVP. Without Mahomes this offense wouldn’t be as potent.

The Raiders defense won’t be able to stop anyone on this offense. Mahomes is the best play among quarterbacks this week and should have another huge game. He is averaging 330 passing yards and three touchdowns per game.

Prediction: 400 passing yards, 4 touchdowns
