High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Spencer Dinwiddie (vs UTA – $6,500): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Dinwiddie continues to deliver and has been over 30 fantasy points in three straight contests. He was up to 39.1 fantasy points against the Sixers on Nov. 25. The Jazz have a good defense in theory, but we’ve seen it all out of sorts this season. Dinwiddie remains a high ceiling player in a good role off the bench. Diagnosis: Keep trusting him given his role and ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs PHO – $5,600): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. SAG has been up-and-down this season, but that’s just the life of a rookie. He had 23.8 fantasy points against the Blazers on Nov. 25. He can do a bit of everything when he’s on his game and I would expect him to do a bit of everything given the matchup. It’s the Suns. And the Suns on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and a great matchup.

J.J. Barea (at HOU – $4,700): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. Barea is turning into the reliable player he was last season. He was up to 39.6 fantasy points against the Celtics on Nov. 24. The Rockets are back to being a poor defensive team and if Chris Paul is out again, they are stretched a bit thin in their rotation. Barea has played himself into a rhythm and should continue down that path. Diagnosis: Matchup is good and he’s red hot right now.
