Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs CLE – $6,400): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Schroder was down to 24.4 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 24. I’m not too concerned as the matchup and circumstances were tough. He’ll have an easier time against the Cavaliers as the Thunder have had a few days off. Schroder will get his points off the bench and his assists should be up in this one. Diagnosis: Matchup and circumstances are much better on Wednesday. He’ll deliver.

JJ Redick (vs NY – $5,600): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Redick has been more miss than hit in recent contests, but the matchup is good on Wednesday and the shots are always there. His shooting numbers are down, but I still love Redick because he can explode at any moment. And the assist numbers are climbing back up as Jimmy Butler gets more comfortable in the offense. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and Redick’s potential. Reliable if nothing else.

Eric Gordon (vs DAL – $5,500): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Gordon has drawn the start in the last two games with Paul out and he’s delivered, going over 38 fantasy points in both contests. He hasn’t been his usual self off the bench this season, so if Paul is in the lineup, proceed with caution. But if Paul is out, take him with confidence. He’s a proven player in the starting lineup. Diagnosis: As long as Paul is out, he’s a fantastic option at this salary.
