Running Back: Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

@ Oakland Raiders, Sunday 4:05pm

Fanduel Price: $8,900

The Kansas City Chiefs high flying passing attack has aided the run game in two different ways. First, it has kept the defense from stacking the box. They need to keep extra defenders deep in order to protect against the pass.

Secondly, it has kept Kareem Hunt from being over worked. Hunt started to slow down towards the end of year based on his workload. This year Hunt looks fresh and seems to have an extra burst in his step.

He and the Chiefs have a great matchup this week against the Oakland Raiders. There’s little reason to expect anything less than a high scoring game from all Kansas City’s passing options.

Running Back: Gus Edwards, Baltimore Ravens

@ Atlanta Falcons, Sunday 1:00pm

Fanduel Price: $6,400

The Baltimore Ravens have found something here with Gus Edwards. He’s a hard runner who does dance too much in the backfield. This has worked well with the team’s new attack featuring quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Edwards has benefited from the fact that the Ravens have faced some easy run defenses over the past few weeks. This continues here with the Ravens taking on the Atlanta Falcons.

Baltimore will keep giving Edwards plenty of work as long has he remains productive. However, he should have a pretty long leash with the other options being the fumble prone Alex Collins and unspectacular Buck Allen.
