This is a great value for a starting running back who is sure to get plenty of work this weekend. Chris Carson has again regained his starting running back job after recovering from another injury. His hold on that lead role is pretty strong based on what we’ve seen so far.

Carson and the Seahawks are facing a 49ers defense that has issues at all levels. However, they have been pretty stout against the run. This doesn’t really have a huge impact because the Seahawks are committed to the ground game.

Just this past weekend Carson got 15 carries despite facing a tough Carolina Panthers defense and averaging just 3.4 yards per carry.

Backup Option: Lamar Miller, RB, Houston Texans

vs. Cleveland Browns, Sunday 1:00pm

Lamar Miller is quietly enjoying a very strong season for the Houston Texans. He has been able to both provide big-game performances while also being a steady contributor. Miller is coming off a huge performance on Monday night with 162 rushing yards including a 97-yard rush.

This week the Texans face a Cleveland Browns team that is near the bottom against the run allowing over 131 yards per game.
