Defense: Tennessee Titans

vs. New York Jets, Sunday 4:05pm

Last week it was the New England Patriots defense that enjoyed a strong fantasy day facing the New York Jets. This week the Tenessee Titans get their chance to face the struggling Jets offensive attack.

The Titans defense ranks among the NFL’s best despite giving up 34 points against the Houston Texans this past week.

Tennessee’s defense features a sound secondary, quick linebackers and a stout defensive line. The Jets will struggle to find any openings at all levels. Sam Darnold remains questionable with a thumb injury which means Josh McCown or Davis Webb could be under center.

Either way, the Titans defense is a strong play this week in all fantasy formats.

Backup Option: Indianapolis Colts

@ Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunday 1:00pm

Fanduel Price: $4,200

It’s been a miserable year for the Jacksonville Jaguars offense. Their struggles have forced changes this week with Blake Bortles being benched in favor of Cody Kessler and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett getting fired.

These changes should create an even more favorable matchup for an improving Indianapolis Colts defense. Indianapolis is playing for their playoff life so they are sure to be focused and ready to roll.
