5 bold Premier League predictions: Kane wins north London derby for Spurs
3. Fiery Newcastle and West Ham match sees two sent off
On Saturday Newcastle will look to win their fourth match in a row when they welcome West Ham to St. James’ Park. The side from the north east are on a great run of form and will fancy their chances of making it four in a row against the Hammers.
The Hammers haven’t been in quite as good form but both sides have an equal amount of points (12) because of Newcastle’s poor start to the season. The home fans have a lot to shout about right now and they’ll make it incredibly difficult for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
West Ham have been very up and down this season and it’s hard to tell which team are going to turn up it each week. They’ve looked very good at home (excluding their loss to Manchester City) but on the road they seem to struggle.
Newcastle have plenty of confidence now and that should carry them over the line in this match. This could actually be a really exciting match as both team’s defenses aren’t great. Hopefully it turns into a bit of goalfest with both sides forgetting to focus at the back.
If it does, then it could also become quite heated with both sides really desperate to win. They’re both only four points above the relegation zone and their early season form has shown that they need to win matches like this in order to remain in the division.
Excitement and tension in matches like this can lead to crazy challenges, wonderful goals and terrible misses. We expect all of these things this weekend in a match that Newcastle will win by a single goal courtesy of Ayoze Perez.
However, the real talking point from this match will be that both sides will finish with 10 men as each side has a man sent off.
