FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 30, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
James Harden (at SA – $11,700): Needs 48.4 fantasy points. With Chris Paul out, it continues to be the Harden show in Houston. It doesn’t really matter the matchup, but the Spurs are certainly a good one give the state of their defense. But really, the Rockets offense is just “Harden does things” and he does them at a very high level. He’ll always get his numbers and then some. He doesn’t have to worry about him. Diagnosis: Unless the minutes catch up to him or Paul is back, he’s a high ceiling guy and reliable despite the high salary.
DeMar DeRozan (vs HOU – $8,300): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. DeRozan has been struggling lately and was down to 22.4 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Nov. 28. It’s concerning, but I’m going to give him this game. He’s too good of a scorer to not fest on this Rockets defense. If Paul is back, that’ll make things a litter tougher, but I’m going to trust him to get buckets. Diagnosis: Trust this matchup. The Rockets offense is not good.
Donovan Mitchell (at CHA – $8,000): Needs 33.1 fantasy points. Mitchell returned to the lineup and had 44.5 fantasy points against the Nets on Nov. 28. He’s pretty much their offense right now and should have no problem getting his points against the Hornets. I’m not sure if Korver will play, but if he does, that could open things up even more for Mitchell. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and his potential. He’s been inconsistent this season, but the Jazz need offense.
