Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs ATL – $6,000): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Schroder was down to 11.9 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Nov. 28. With Westbrook in the lineup, his usage goes down, but he’s still a high ceiling player who can get it going. And it’s a revenge game for Schroder. Don’t think his teammates don’t know it, either. They’ll allow Schroder to shine and given the opponent, he should do just that. Diagnosis: I love me a good revenge game and Schroder has big potential despite his recent play.

Eric Gordon (at SA – $5,900): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Gordon was down to 25.7 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Nov. 28, but I’m not too concerned. As long as Paul remains out the lineup and Gordon is the starter, he’s going to post a high usage rate and have plenty of scoring opportunities. The Spurs defense isn’t good and Gordon should get his numbers. Diagnosis: Matchup is good as long as Paul is out, Gordon will be a good bet.

Terrence Ross (at PHO – $5,000): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Ross has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. These west coast road trips for East teams are never easy and the Magic could be suffering from fatigue. But it’s the Suns. Ross should have plenty of room to score the basketball and he’s been contributing with rebounds. Diagnosis: Good salary, hot, and a good matchup.
