High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Markieff Morris (at PHI – $6,600): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Morris has been great during this recent stretch since being moved to the bench. He’s averaging 33.7 fantasy points in his five games off the bench. The points and rebounds are there and he’s able to take advantage of opposing second units. The Sixers depth is rather thin, making this a good matchup for Morris. Diagnosis: Love the way he’s playing and the matchup. Salary is a bit high, but he’s been delivering.

Jerami Grant (vs ATL – $5,900): Needs 24 fantasy points. Grant was up to 38 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Nov. 28. He’s been reliable and his ceiling is high thanks to his defensive impact. He also chips in with plenty of scoring and a handful of rebounds. He’s a good player and it’s the Hawks. This one is easy to figure out. Diagnosis: He’ll deliver given the matchup.

Marcus Morris (vs CLE – $5,100): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Morris is going the opposite of his brother where he’s been in the starting lineup and delivering. He was up to 35.7 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 26. It’s the Cavaliers and this feels like it’ll be a personal thing for Morris after Tristan Thompson’s comments in the offseason. He’s typically reliable with his scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Matchup is good and playing very well.
