High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Justin Holiday (at HOU – $5,600): Needs 25 fantasy points. It was a rough night for the Bulls on Friday, but Holiday still managed 32.5 fantasy points. He does a little bit of everything, which boosts his value when the team isn’t providing much offense like on Friday. The matchup is good as the Rockets still can’t be trusted despite their performance on Friday. He remains at a good salary on Saturday. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling and matchup.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (vs IND – $5,500): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. It’s the battle of the Bogdanovic’s on Saturday. Both players have been reliable options for their respective squads, but Bogdan is playing better right now. He was at 41 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 29. He’s been great ever since playing himself into rhythm following the injury and the matchup is good as the Pacers are on a tough schedule right now. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, catching the Pacers at the right time.

Gordon Hayward (at MIN – $5,300): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Hayward had 24.5 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Cavaliers on Friday. The Celtics didn’t need much from anyone on Friday; just a little from everyone. Hayward’s minutes have been down recently, which is a bit of a concern. But he’s at a good salary and can contribute in a variety of ways. This feels like a game where his minutes will be up. Diagnosis: Good matchup and typically reliable.
