High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (at DET – $10,800): Needs 48.4 fantasy points. Durant has been over 70 fantasy points in three straight games. That will most likely end on Saturday with Curry back in the lineup. That is the big concern on Saturday, especially at this salary. We know the ceiling is there for Durant, but his shots will be down and he’ll do less playmaking as well. He’s never a bad option because he’s still the second best player in the league, but Curry is back. Diagnosis: Salary is a bit too high now that Steph is back. But there’s no denying how well he’s been playing.

Blake Griffin (vs GS – $9,300): Needs 43 fantasy points. Griffin had 41.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Friday. His minutes were down as the Pistons made it look easy against Chicago. His minutes should be up in this one as the Warriors won’t make it easy on them. In fact, if there’s going to be a blowout, it might be in the favor of the Warriors. The Warriors can still be taken advantage of in the frontcourt so there will be the opportunity there for Griffin. Diagnosis: High ceiling, solid matchup. Like, don’t love.

Jayson Tatum (at MIN – $6,700): Needs 30 fantasy points. Tatum had 20.5 fantasy points in 20 minutes against the Cavaliers on Friday. The minutes should be way up on Saturday as this projects to be a close game and a battle throughout. Tatum has been scoring well and picking up extra fantasy points with his rebounding. Minnesota will make life tough on him, but he remains a strong option at a good salary. Diagnosis: Salary is good and potential is there.
