FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Dec. 1, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Kyrie Irving (at MIN – $9,000): Needs 37.7 fantasy points. Irving was at 37.8 fantasy points in just 27 minutes against the Cavaliers on Friday. His minutes should be up on Saturday and given that this game projects to be much closer. Irving has been on a scoring tear as of late and can chip in with assists and a couple of rebounds. He remains at a solid salary given his overall ceiling. Diagnosis: He should get plenty of points. Reliable, good matchup, high ceiling.
Kyle Lowry (at CLE – $8,300): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. Lowry had 45.6 fantasy points against the Warriors on Nov. 29. The only concern for Lowry in this game is a lack of minutes. The Cavaliers are not very good and they are on a back-to-back. Lowry should have no issue picking up assists and rebounds in this one. Diagnosis: Will get numbers, but a blowout is very possible and would limit his overall ceiling. He’ll produce for as long as he plays.
Steph Curry (at DET – $9,600): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Steph back. The salary might be a bit too high, but remember just how good he was prior to his injury. He was looking like the MVP again and the Warriors put everyone on notice. This feels like a game where they welcome him back in a big way. Diagnosis: Was playing well prior to the injury, salary is decent enough and it just feels like the Warriors will go out of their way to make him look like Steph again. Which won’t be too hard.
