High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Blake Griffin (vs GS – $9,200): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. Lack of minutes in the blowout hurt Griffin from having a bigger impact on Friday. His minutes should be up on Saturday as this one could be a competitive and fun game. Without Draymond Green harassing him, things are looking much better for Griffin in this matchup. He’s shown a high ceiling, he just needs to deliver on it. Diagnosis: I like him, but don’t love him. The potential is there, but it’s been awhile since we’ve seen it.

Jayson Tatum (at MIN – $7,000): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Tatum had 20.8 fantasy points in 20 minutes against the Cavaliers on Friday. His minutes should be up in this one. He’s a reliable scorer and chips in with rebounds and a handful of defensive plays. It’s a slow night at power forward with all the injuries, but Tatum is a solid option at this salary. And he can always get hot from the field. Diagnosis: High ceiling with his scoring and will get his looks in this game.

Pascal Siakam (at CLE – $6,900): Needs 28 fantasy points. Siakam had 31.9 fantasy points against the Warriors on Nov. 29. He’s been great for the majority of the season and the Cavaliers are obviously a great matchup. The only concern in this one is that it’s a blowout. But even in limited minutes, Siakam is at a solid salary to where he should deliver at least value. Diagnosis: Typically reliable, good ceiling, but a blowout is concerning.
