High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (vs MEM – $11,200): Needs 49.7 fantasy points. Embiid has become one of the most reliable options in DFS with his scoring, rebounding and defensive ability. Even in limited minutes, he’s putting up huge numbers. That said, the matchup is tough on Sunday, especially if Marc Gasol plays. If Gasol doesn’t end up playing, take Embiid with all the confidence in the world. But if Gasol is in, he has the ability to neutralize Embiid. Diagnosis: High ceiling and will get numbers even if Gasol plays. But ceiling lowers with Gasol playing.

Rudy Gobert (at MIA – $9,000): Needs 39.9 fantasy points. Gobert followed up his 60.7 fantasy point performance against the Nets with 53.4 fantasy points against the Hornets. The Heat aren’t quite as good of a matchup as the Hornets and Nets, but they are decent enough. Gobert has big rebounding and scoring potential and he typically chips in with defense. Diagnosis: Playing well and Korver opens up his game more as well. The matchup isn’t the best.

Jusuf Nurkic (at SA – $8,100): Needs 35.9 fantasy points. Nurkic has been over 40 fantasy points in his last two games. His minutes have been all over the place, but as long as he’s around 30 minutes, he’ll easily reach value. The Spurs defense is just a wreck right now and Nurkic should be able to dominate them in the paint. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, ceiling not quite as high as the other two.
