FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 2, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Al-Farouq Aminu (at SA – $4,700): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. Aminu was at 31.9 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 30. He’s wildly inconsistent, but his big games are typically big. And the minutes are almost always there for him. With the state of the Spurs right now, there is a reason to think that Aminu will have one of his bigger games on Sunday. Diagnosis: Spurs are reeling and while the Blazers have come down a bit, they’ve still shown more than San Antonio this season. Aminu should be reliable at this salary.
Kelly Olynyk (vs UTA – $3,700): Needs 15 fantasy points. Olynyk had 29.4 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 30. The Heat frontcourt rotation is all over the place and you never know who is going to step up on any given night. But I’ll trust that it’ll be Olynyk on Sunday. Diagnosis: Slight risk because minutes are a concern. But the salary is low and the ceiling is high.
Meyers Leonard (at SA – $3,600): Needs 14.6 fantasy points. Leonard was at 22.3 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 30. He’s been getting minutes as of late and shown that he can produce when given a chance. Once again, I don’t like the Spurs on Sunday given how they’ve played recently. Of course, that means they will find their rhythm and dominate on Sunday. But if things go how they’ve been going for both teams, Leonard should have some type of impact. Diagnosis: Low-cost and minutes should be there.
