Marlon Mack, Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars

Although Marlon Mack is questionable to play in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars after sustaining a concussion in last week’s win over the Miami Dolphins, it looks like he’ll be able to suit up in this critical AFC South game.

The Colts are in the thick of the playoff race under head coach Frank Reich, and Mack has played a big part in that. This offense has looked better ever since Mack emerged as the feature back in Week 7 with a 126-yard game against the Buffalo Bills, quickly following that up with nearly 150 yards from scrimmage and two rushing touchdowns against the lousy Oakland Raiders.

While the Jaguars defense is far from lousy, Mack is rolling, having run for 85 yards on just 15 attempts against the Dolphins. Mack is still in the concussion protocol and is thus 50/50 to play, but he did resume practicing fully on Thursday, suggesting he’s on the mend.

Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines could steal some touches from Mack this week due to the concussion, but, in all honesty, this backfield is Mack’s to own. He’s earned that trust from the Colts coaching staff with his average of 5.1 yards per carry and nearly 80 rushing yards per game this season.
