High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (at DET – $5,800): Needs 24 fantasy points. Schroder was up to 30.6 fantasy points in just 23 minutes against the Hawks. It was a revenge game and he still produced in limited minutes. His minutes will be up against the Pistons as the game should be closer. Schroder can be all over the place, but he can also do a bit of everything. He’s good at this salary. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary and a good ceiling.

Lou Williams (at NO – $5,700): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. After struggling for a couple of games and seeing his minutes drop, Williams was at 33.6 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday. His salary has gone down and this is a good opportunity to strike on him. The Pelicans play very little defense, especially against perimeter players. Williams should have no issue carving them up and getting his points and assists. Diagnosis: Good salary, high ceiling, great matchup.

Danny Green (vs DEN – $4,700): Needs 19.5 fantasy points. Green has been solid in the last handful of games. He had 28.4 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Dec. 1. If Kyle Lowry is out again, he’ll be asked to do a bit more once again. He’s not exactly reliable, but he gets plenty of minutes and has flashed a high ceiling. This feels like one of those games where he finds a way to contribute. Diagnosis: A gut feeling, but Green has been playing well and does get minutes.
