High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Markieff Morris (at NY – $6,600): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Morris was back up to 44.4 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 1. Aside from the Sixers game, he’s been great coming off the bench. And now he gets the Knicks. He had 38.7 fantasy points against the Knicks on Nov. 4. He should have no issue getting numbers in this game and has high scoring potential. Diagnosis: Reliable even at a higher salary. High ceiling as well.

Noah Vonleh (vs WAS – $5,500): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Vonlah has been a bit up-and-down recently, but he typically gets enough minutes to make an impact. And against the Wizards, with their issues in the frontcourt, he’s a decent enough bet. I don’t exactly love him, but he’s at a good salary and can put up decent scoring and rebounding numbers. Diagnosis: Call him reliable. Should get the minutes, which helps.

Kevin Knox (vs WAS – $4,400): Needs 17.9 fantasy points. Knox had 40.8 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 1. It’s nice of him to flash that kind of ceiling as he hasn’t shown much this season. He’s a rookie, so he’s going to have his ups and downs, but maybe he can build off his performance against one of the better teams in the league with a good performance against one of the worst teams in the league. Diagnosis: Rookie inconsistencies are always a concern. But there’s hope after his last game.
