Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (at MIA – $9,000): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. There are few players delivering like Vucevic is delivering right now. He was up to 53.75 fantasy points against the Suns on Nov. 30. He had just 28 fantasy points against the Heat on Oct. 17, but that was before he turned into Super Vooch and started shredding the opposition. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling. The matchup is good as well.

Rudy Gobert (vs SA – $8,600): Needs 40.9 fantasy points. Gobert has been a force in his last three games, going over 49 fantasy points in each contest. He’s shown the ability to crash and burn, which is the concern heading into Tuesday. But the Spurs still have defensive issues and Gobert should get his points and rebounds in this one. Diagnosis: Red hot and a high ceiling. A slight risk just because he can crash at any moment.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at PHO – $6,400): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. Cauley-Stein was at 39.75 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 1. He’s been inconsistent throughout the season, but he’s at a solid salary and his ceiling is high. And if Marvin Bagley is out, Cauley-Stein should get more run. Diagnosis: It’s the Suns. And Cauley-Stein is reliable at this salary with a high ceiling.
