DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 4, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Zach LaVine (at IND – $8,400): Needs 38.1 fantasy points. LaVine had 46.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 1. He’s been a reliable scorer all season and with the coaching change, the Bulls will likely receive a big boost. It’s simply something that happens after a coach gets fired. The team comes together to prove “see, it was the coach” before they turn back into the same low-end team they always were. Use the boost to your advantage. Diagnosis: Reliable and has the coaching change boost. The matchup is tough.
Donovan Mitchell (vs SA – $7,900): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. Mitchell was at 30.25 fantasy points against the Heat on Dec. 2. The chances are going to always be there for him, he just needs to capitalize. Against the Spurs, he should be able to capitalize. Their defense remains a mess, no matter how well they played against the Blazers (and they still gave up a lot of points). Mitchell will deliver. Diagnosis: He’ll pour in the points, which means he’ll pour in the fantasy points.
Josh Richardson (vs ORL – $7,000): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. Richardson was down to 24.75 fantasy points against the Jazz on Dec. 2. His scoring has been down in recent contests, which is a bit concerning. He didn’t contribute any defensive numbers against the Jazz, which typically isn’t the case. Expect his defense to bounce back and his scoring to be up in this matchup. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back. Typically reliable with a good ceiling.
