DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 4, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Trevor Ariza (vs SAC – $5,700): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Ariza had 37.75 fantasy point against the Lakers. He’s been inconsistent this season, but with Booker out of the lineup, he should continue to get plenty of opportunities. And while the Kings are better, their defense remains a bit rough in certain areas. Ariza also has the talent to do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Circumstances are good and the ceiling is high.
Lauri Markkanen (at IND – $5,400): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. Markkanen returned to the lineup and finished with 20 fantasy points. Not a great number, but he played 26 minutes and those minutes should go up as he gets more comfortable. I love Markkanen last season and he’s going to explode with a big game at a low salary. May as well be in the “fired coach” game. Diagnosis: A risk due to minutes concerns. But could hit in a big way.
Kelly Olynyk (vs ORL – $3,900): Needs 18.1 fantasy points. Olynyk had 32.5 fantasy points against the Jazz on Dec. 2. I still don’t trust the Miami frontcourt rotation, but Olynyk seems to have earned his spot at the moment. As long as he continues to get solid minutes, I’ll trust him to keep putting up good numbers, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: As long as the minutes are there, the production will be there.
