FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 4, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Trevor Ariza (vs SAC – $5,600): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. Ariza had 39.3 fantasy points against the Lakers on Dec. 2. He can do a bit of everything when he’s on his game, but he’s been inconsistent this season. Being on the Suns will do that to a player. But with Booker out of the lineup, Ariza should continue to see more opportunities. The Kings are better, but weak against the position, making this a good matchup for Ariza. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and matchup. But inconsistent.
Jae Crowder (vs SA – $5,400): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. I’ve always been a big fan of Crowder because he’s been at an affordable salary given his minutes and production. The Jazz are figuring out that he’s a better option than Favors, which is leading to even more minutes. And Korver is opening things up a bit for Utah. Crowder should have no issue contributing against the defensively weak Spurs. Diagnosis: Salary is up, but still reasonable given his minutes and production.
Bojan Bogdanovic (vs CHI – $5,200): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Bogdanovic bounced back after two games under 20 fantasy points with 33.6 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 1. He’s been fairly reliable this season and enters into a great matchup on Tuesday. The Bulls offense will probably look better, but I’m not expecting much out of their defense. Bogdanovic is at a good salary given the minutes and chances he gets. Diagnosis: Salary is good, the matchup is good, and he’s reliable with a solid ceiling.
