High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Wendell Carter Jr (at IND – $5,800): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Carter Jr. has tailed off in recent weeks, which is going to happen as a rookie. And the matchup isn’t great on Tuesday as the Pacers are one of the top defensive players in the league. But I like him on Tuesday because the minutes are there, we know he can produce, and the Bulls will play better on Tuesday. Diagnosis: Believe in the “fired coach” boost. And count on Carter Jr. to deliver a strong game.

Josh Jackson (vs SAC – $5,600): Needs 23 fantasy points. With Booker out of the lineup, Jackson becomes a big-time player. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He was great at the end of the year last season when Booker missed time. He’s starting and his minutes are up as a result of Booker’s injury. You can trust Jackson to deliver. Diagnosis: Good enough salary and high ceiling, given the circumstances.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at DAL – $5,400): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Aminu has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. His highs are high and his lows are low. But he’s hot right now, at a good salary, and the Mavericks are a good matchup. He also gets plenty of minutes to produce and can do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary and has a high ceiling. The Blazers are slumping, but Aminu has done his part on the offensive end.
