Lineup

QUARTERBACKS

Start: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton is one yard shy of 3,000 passing yards this season. His 450 rushing yards is No.1 among quarterbacks. He is a high profile player despite those four interceptions in Week 13. Cam is a baller and needs to be utilized this week against the Cleveland Browns 28th-ranked pass defense.

Sit: Patrick Mahomes

I know everyone is shocked by this sit. Mahomes will be playing the Baltimore Ravens No.1 defense in Week 14. The absence of a true running game will sting in this one and make Kansas City one-dimensional. You heard it here first.

RUNNING BACKS

Start: Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have an amazing matchup for Week 14. CMC has been nothing short of amazing this season racking up 863 rushing yards and 663 receiving yards which is No.1 among running backs. The Browns are 28th against the rush. You do the math.

Sit: Nick Chubb

Yes, Chubb makes our sit list once again this week as he will face the Carolina Panthers sixth-ranked rush defense. I think we have seen the very best of the Browns and Chubb this season. Don’t rely too much on him going forward.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Start: Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

Brown is No.1 in receiving touchdowns this season. Averaging one per game. He is the most  valued player on that offense. He will get a date with the Oakland Raiders 28th-ranked defense. The Steelers and Raiders always have a good game. Perfect for your first playoff win of the year.

Sit: Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs

We really don’t like this matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. Hill has all the abilities and tools to breakout in any game. But the absence of Kareem Hunt will be noticeable and Hill will more than likely lay another egg.

Next: Best NFL player from each state

TIGHT ENDS

Start: Eric Ebron, Indianapolis Colts

Ebron and the Colts didn’t show up to play in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars defense came out to make a statement and boy did they ever. Ebron still had 81 receiving yards and this week faces a Houston Texans defense that is 18th-ranked against the pass.

Sit: Austin Hooper, Atlanta Falcons

Hooper is honestly one of the safest tight end picks for Week 14. His matchup is okay and he is 10th-ranked in receiving yards among tight ends this season. His matchup with Green Bay looks to be a safe play but not the best. These two teams are in limbo and unpredictable going forward.
