The Indiana Pacers had a difficult week with Victor Oladipo, who was nursing a sore right knee. The news that this injured knee will now keep him out indefinitely should definitely be concerning for the Pacers. Everyone has to take a step forward without his dynamic creation and while their shooting numbers were healthy this week, it’s definitely a stretch for the roster and lowers their ceiling considerably.

One of the bright spots this week, and, frankly, every week, has been the play of Domantas Sabonis. He averaged 15.7 points, 12.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists across the team’s three games this week. His facilitation and steady finishing keep the offense running as smoothly as possible and he’s been slowly building himself an impressive Most Improved Player of the Year resume.
