The Oakland Raiders moved up one spot this past weekend, as the Arizona Cardinals were able to come away with a stunning victory over the Green Bay Packers that essentially cost Mike McCarthy his job. Now sitting at No. 2 overall, the Raiders should still address their biggest need on the roster, and bring in an elite edge rusher.

While Nick Bosa is likely to go first overall, whether or not the Raiders or San Francisco 49ers pick first, Clelin Ferrell is going to be a beast here at No. 2. Ferrell has been an absolute monster during his time with the Clemson Tigers, leading them to the College Football Playoffs in each of the last three seasons.

For the Raiders, Ferrell would fill an immediate void, one that has been left by the trading away of star defensive end Khalil Mack. While getting the kind of production you get out of Mack is not going to happen with Ferrell, especially in year one, he will be a perfect compliment to 2018 third round pick Arden Key on the edge.

Oakland has a long way to go in terms of building this roster, but the No. 2 overall pick is one of three picks they have in the first round next April. Clelin Ferrell from Clemson would be a perfect way for the Silver and Black to kick off their 2019 NFL Draft, as he has the potential to be a special one at the next level.
