Players costing $6,250 or under

Pascal Siakam (vs PHI – $6,100): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. Siakam was at 34.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 3. He’s been reliable for the majority of the season and gets plenty of minutes to produce. He had 42.75 fantasy points against the Sixers on Oct. 30. It’s a different Sixers squad, but it does show the kind of damage he can do to their interior. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jerami Grant (at BKN – $4,700): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Grant has been rather reliable in recent contests and he’s flashed a high ceiling. I love him on Wednesday because the Nets have nothing for interior opponents. Grant’s rebounding numbers should be up and he’ll get plenty of points. He always chips in with a defensive play or two as well. Diagnosis: Reliable, but expect more given the matchup. Nets are just brutal against frontcourt players.

Juancho Hernangomez (at ORL – $4,400): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. Hernangomez continues to be a nice low-cost option. He gets the minutes to produce and he’s shown a nice scoring touch to go along with some solid rebounding numbers. Minutes matter for these low-cost guys and Hernangomez continues to get minutes. The Magic are on a back-to-back and the Nuggets are rolling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling and gets plenty of minutes.
