High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (vs DET – $6,400): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. Brogdon has been great in recent games, going over 30 fantasy points in five straight contests. I’ve been rolling with Brogdon for the majority of the season and it’s worked out well thus far. His salary is up, which is bad news. The good news is that it’s not quite high enough, the matchup is good, and he continues to play extremely well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good matchup and a high ceiling. Continue to trust in him.

Dennis Schroder (at BKN – $5,900): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. Schroder has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games despite playing 25 minutes are less. The matchup is good on Wednesday and he continues to get plenty of minutes off the bench. If the game is competitive, that’s even better because it means more minutes for him. The Nets don’t offer much in terms of defense, so Schroder should be able to carve them up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling and matchup.

Jordan Clarkson (vs GS – $5,800): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. I am 100 percent here for Jordan Clarkson taking over against the Warriors. I don’t know if he’ll be able to do it. But I’m never doubting Clarkson. He has the irrational confidence you need as a player going up against the best team ever assembled. He’s shown a high ceiling and while he’s inconsistent (he is Jordan Clarkson), there’s just something that tells me he’s going to take all the shots in this game. Diagnosis: The scoring will be there. It’s a matter of everything else catching up. A slight risk, but trust the confidence of Clarkson against the Warriors.
