High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs DET – $12,700): Needs 51.9 fantasy points. There’s a lot to love at small forward on Wednesday. All the top guys are in action and some of them have good matchups. But no one stands out quite like Giannis. Not only is he the most reliable option of the bunch, but he also has the highest ceiling. You can always confidently build around Giannis. And this isn’t normal Giannis. This is angry Giannis because he got stepped over the last time he was on the court. You wouldn’t like Giannis when he’s angry. Diagnosis: Reliable, high ceiling, and angry. It’s Giannis.

Paul George (at BKN – $8,300): Needs 33.9 fantasy points. Again with so many top small forwards in action, you’re going to have your pick of the litter. George has not only proven himself to be reliable, even in a blowout, but he has a high ceiling and a great matchup. George has done a bit of everything for the Thunder this season and even though his scoring numbers are down, it hasn’t mattered because he’s doing enough of everything else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling and a good matchup.

Robert Covington (vs CHA – $7,000): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. If you don’t like any of the high salary options, you can save a little and still get plenty of value with Covington. He not only puts up numbers in all categories, but he has a great matchup. The Hornets have been rough defensively this season and Covington can hurt them in a variety of ways. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling and a fantastic matchup.
