High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Markieff Morris (at ATL – $6,300): Needs 26 fantasy points. Morris continues to put up great numbers off the bench. He had 28.9 fantasy points against the Knicks in 24 minutes on Dec. 3. Even in limited minutes, he should have no issue getting points and rebounds given the matchup on Wednesday. Take advantage of the Hawks, especially with the way Morris has looked as the sixth man. Diagnosis: Reliable, high ceiling, great matchup even in a potential blowout.

Jerami Grant (at BKN – $5,000): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. I wish Grant’s salary was a little bit lower, but I still like him due to the matchup. As long as the game is somewhat competitive, Grant is going to get plenty of minutes in this one. And the Nets have trouble against frontcourt players. Grant has the ability to hurt them with his rebounding, scoring, and defense. Diagnosis: Reliable enough with a good ceiling if the game is close.

JaMychal Green (vs LAC – $4,900): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Green has been inconsistent this season as his minutes have been a bit all over the map (Thanks, Triple J). But he was up to 31.4 fantasy points in his last game and this is a good matchup due to the Clippers length and athleticism. Green had 22.8 fantasy points against them on Nov. 23 and played 34 minutes. If he gets those same minutes again, he’ll be reliable. Diagnosis: Should get the minutes and is reliable enough.
