4. Dallas Cowboys

Similar to the Bears, the Cowboys cannot clinch this weekend, but they can considerably help their playoff positioning. Last week the Cowboys defeated the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football for easily their biggest win of the season. With that win, the Cowboys moved into first place in the NFC East, although the division is not what it once was.

Regardless, the Cowboys are in position to win the division if they can handle their business down the stretch. Looks like the Amari Cooper trade is paying dividends, huh? This week brings a rivalry match up with the Philadelphia Eagles, who could surpass the Cowboys with a win due to tiebreaker. It goes without saying, this game is going to be huge for both sides, and will likely determine the division.

Since the game is in Dallas, this obviously has to be more important for the Cowboys. They have the division lead and they have home field advantage, they have no excuses if they cannot come up with a win over a bitter rival.

It’s all there to play for, who will seize the day? My bet would be on the Cowboys. They have been clicking lately and are still riding the high of a huge win over the Saints. Look for the Cowboys to have an offensive explosion en route to a pivotal win.
