Players costing over $6,667

Mike Conley (at NO – $9,200): Needs 38.4 fantasy points. Conley has been very good during this stretch and now he gets the Pelicans, who don’t play any defense. Conley should have no problem carving up their defense with his scoring and playmaking. He’s at a good salary given the rest of the point guards on Friday. You can always go with Westbrook or Curry, who have higher ceiling, but Conley is reliable with a fantastic matchup and a good ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable, great matchup, good ceiling. Love Conley on Friday.

Kyle Lowry (at BKN – $7,800): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. Lowry was down to 25.8 fantasy points against the Sixers on Dec. 5. He’s been a little rough during this stretch minus the OT game against the Warriors. But this is a great matchup given how poorly the Nets have played against the point guard position. The assists will be there and I expect his shot to come around given the matchup. Diagnosis: Much like Conley, I love everything about Lowry on Friday.

Jamal Murray (at CHA – $7,400): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. Murray was up to 49.8 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 5. He’s been inconsistent throughout the season, but he does have a high ceiling and this is a great matchup. The Hornets don’t offer much defense and we know the Nuggets offense can deliver. The points and assists should be there for him on Friday. Diagnosis: Matchup and salary are good. He’ll get it done.
