FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 7, 2018
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Goran Dragic (at PHO – $5,800): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Dragic is expected back for this game. Check his status before making any decisions, but if he ends up playing, he’s coming back to a fantastic matchup. It’s the Suns and it’s the Suns on a back-to-back. Dragic is inconsistent, but he does have a high ceiling and, again, it’s the Suns. He should be able to ease himself back into the lineup. Diagnosis: It’s the Suns and Dragic always has something to prove against them. As long as there is no minutes restriction, he’ll be a big-time player.
Reggie Jackson (vs PHI – $5,500): Needs 23 fantasy points. Jackson bounced back from his 14.6 fantasy point performance against the Thunder with 32.9 fantasy points against the Bucks. It didn’t matter, but it was nice of him to deliver a solid performance. He’s been good during this stretch minus the Thunder game and the Sixers are a good matchup for him, despite how poorly he played in the Nov. 3 meeting. He puts up numbers in all categories, which helps his value. Diagnosis: Reliable, good salary, solid ceiling.
Collin Sexton (vs SAC – $4,900): Needs 20.5 fantasy points. Sexton had 26.9 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 5. He’s been inconsistent this season, which happens when you’re a rookie. But he’s at a good salary, plays plenty of minutes, and gets plenty of opportunities. And the Kings are better, but still don’t perform well against opposing point guards. Diagnosis: Low-cost and gets the minutes and chances to produce. Reliable at this salary.
