FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 7, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Malcolm Brogdon (vs GS – $5,900): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Brogdon was down to 22.2 fantasy minutes against the Pistons, but he only played 21 minutes due to the blowout. He’s been reliable for the majority of this season and he’s shown a high ceiling in recent weeks. He had 31.1 fantasy points against the Warriors on Nov. 8. He remains at a good salary and should continue his roll. Diagnosis: Minutes will be there and he’s hot. Reliable with a good ceiling.
Justin Holiday (vs OKC – $5,900): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. The Thunder defense has been good this season, but Holiday is the kind of player they will struggle against. He can do a bit of everything and his minutes are going to be there. He’s played well throughout this season and even though the matchup is tough, I have a good feeling about Holiday. People will stay away from the Bulls, adding to Holiday’s value in a lot of leagues. Diagnosis: This is a gut feeling pick. Plus, I think he’s auditioning for his next team.
Dwyane Wade (at PHO – $5,600): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. It’s the Suns on a back-to-back. Wade’s minutes were down against the Magic, but the minutes are typically there for him. Granted, if Dragic is back in the lineup, maybe that cuts into his value a bit. He still remains at a good enough salary to where he should deliver. And it’s the friggin Suns. Diagnosis: Shown a high ceiling, typically reliable, and it’s the Suns. On a back-to-back.
