FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 7, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs GS – $12,200): Needs 50.3 fantasy points. The minutes should be there for Giannis and the if the minutes are there for Giannis, the production will be there. I can’t see the Bucks blowing out the Warriors again, which means Giannis should play close to 40 minutes. If that’s the case, he’ll get you at least 60 fantasy points. It’s Giannis. He always delivers and he always has a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable, minutes will be there, expect a huge game.
LeBron James (at SA – $11,000): Needs 45.5 fantasy points. James had 61 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 5. He’s been inconsistent this season, but some of the inconsistency as of late has come from the Lakers blowing teams out. The Spurs will give up a lot of points, but they won’t get blown out. And LeBron is starting to take over games more as he got tired of losing. He’ll get plenty of points and toss in some rebounds and assists. Diagnosis: High ceiling and typically reliable.
Paul George (at CHI – $9,300): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. George had 72 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 5. And he did most of his damage in just one quarter. He’s been reliable all season and if he’s over his shooting slump, that’s going to be great news for his value. The Bulls are a good matchup because they are the Bulls. A blowout is possible, which would hurt his value, but it would also mean he probably puts up big numbers in a short period of time. Diagnosis: Reliable, great matchup, high ceiling.
