Players costing $6,667 or under

Pascal Siakam (at BKN – $6,300): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Siakam has been reliable if nothing else recently. Especially at this lower salary. The Nets are terrible against frontcourt players and Siakam can hurt them in a big way with his scoring and rebounding. He’s also picked up his assist numbers in recent games. Very favorable circumstances for Siakam on Friday. Diagnosis: Reliable, high ceiling, great matchup.

Jerami Grant (at CHI – $5,400): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Grant had 25 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 5 and didn’t even play that well. The matchup is even better against the Bulls because they are just dreadful right now as guys come back from injury and try to figure out their role. Grant should be able to get his points and rebounds in this one while also chipping in with defense. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, great matchup.

Kelly Olynyk (at PHO – $5,100): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Olynyk has been solid in recent games, going over 27 fantasy points in his last three games. Whiteside isn’t going to play, which should mean more minutes for Olynyk. You can also look at Bam Adebayo as a low-cost replacement with Whiteside out. And again, Suns. On a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Hot, good circumstances, great matchup.
