Bayern Munich face Nurnberg at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, Dec. 8. Here’s all the info you need to watch online.
Bayern Munich and Nurnberg are at opposite ends of the table ahead of the Bavarian derby on Saturday at the Allianz Arena. Bayern are fourth with 24 points, while Nurnberg are fourth from the bottom with 11 points.
Bayern Munich defeated Werder Bremen 2-1 last weekend after Serge Gnabry scored a brace. Gnabry has been one of Bayern’s best players over the last four games, scoring three goals. The former Arsenal youth player will continue to get a chance to play with Arjen Robben injured. Niko Kovac continues to be on the hot seat with Bayern sitting nine points behind Borussia Dortmund. Kovac shifted Joshua Kimmich to the midfield from right-back and changed his formation. After dealing with a few early injuries, Kingsley Coman and Thiago are healthy, giving Kovac two more playmakers.
Nurnberg are above the relegation zone but will likely be fighting for survival at the end of the season. The last time that Nurnberg won a game was on Sept. 29, when they defeated Dusseldorf. Nurnberg have picked up only three points in their last seven games. Michael Kollner’s team have been awful in their six away games, losing four games and conceding 22 goals. Nurnberg could be in line for another lopsided away beating if they do not tighten up their defense.
