FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Dec. 8, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
Bradley Beal (at CLE – $9,000): Needs 37 fantasy points. Beal has been over 55 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s faced the Knicks and Hawks, but it’s not like the Cavaliers are any better. In fact, they might be worse than both teams and they are on a back-to-back. I don’t have many concerns with the Wizards offense because the talent is still there. A blowout is in play. Diagnosis: Should deliver even in limited minutes. A blowout is the only real concenr.
D’Angelo Russell (at NY – $7,500): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. Russell was at 39.5 fantasy points against the Raptors on Friday. That’s a good sign for his value as the Raptors are a tough matchup. The back-to-back is concerning, but the Knicks are a very good matchup as they offer very little in terms of defense. And Russell has been delivering some big scoring games with LeVert out. Diagnosis: Matchup is great and he’s playing well, but the circumstances aren’t the best.
Tim Hardaway Jr (vs BKN – $7,300): Needs 30 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr’s value remains tied to his scoring, which is a big concern. The points are typically there, but he needs a big scoring game to justify this salary because he’s not doing much of anything else. The matchup is good with the Nets on the back-to-back and I think this is a game where his offense shows up. Diagnosis: I have a good feeling about him on Saturday.
