High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

LeBron James (at MEM – $11,100): Needs 45.9 fantasy points. James has been over 60 fantasy points in his last two games. As of late, as long as the minutes have been there, the production has been there. The matchup is extremely tough because the Grizzlies defense remains top notch, but it’s LeBron. And with the Lakers losing on Friday, it’s probably an angry LeBron. Diagnosis: He’s in form and he’s still LeBron. But be wary of the matchup.

Robert Covington (at POR – $7,100): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. I continue to love Covington’s game because why wouldn’t I love Covington’s game? The minutes are always going to be there and he does a bit of everything. This is a game where role players are going to shine a little bit and while it might be a bit unfair to call Covington a role player, he’s also not exactly a star. Trust him to deliver in this matchup given his all-around ability and minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. Feels like a game where he contributes in a big way.

Danilo Gallinari (vs MIA – $7,000): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. Much like Covington, you kind of know what to expect from Gallinari at this point. He’s going to get you the numbers he needs for value and he always has the ability to make a bigger impact. The Heat are on a back-to-back, but they played the Suns on Friday, so that barely counts. On the whole, the matchup is good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling and matchup.

Quick Hits

Otto Porter Jr ($7,400): Only concern for him is a blowout. Otherwise he’s in a similar position as Gallinari and Covington.
