High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at TOR – $11,200): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. As always, it’s Giannis. He didn’t play in the first Toronto meeting, the Bucks are coming off a loss, and this is big game for both teams. I expect him and Kawhi to put on a show in this game. He’s a boxscore monster and one of the most reliable DFS players in the league. He’ll get you at least value. And given the matchup, he should be a bit higher because star players step up in these situations. Diagnosis: Always reliable and has a high ceiling.

Tim Hardaway Jr (vs CHA – $6,700): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr had just 13.25 fantasy points against the Nets on Saturday. His value is still too tied to his scoring and when he’s not scoring, he’s not giving you value. His ceiling is high and the Knicks will probably have a big bounce back game because the NBA is weird. But proceed with caution. Diagnosis: High ceiling and gets the opportunities. But it’s tough to trust any Knicks perimeter player on a nightly basis.

Khris Middleton (at TOR – $6,600): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. I don’t know what’s up with Middleton right now. He was a great second option next to Giannis and then he fell off a cliff. He ended benched then scratched late due to personal reasons and then returned and didn’t play all that well. I don’t know what’s up with him. I’m not sure anyone does. He has a high ceiling, but right now he’s a big risk with everything going on. Diagnosis: I still like his game overall. But something is up with him and his situation that makes me not trust him.
