High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Rudy Gobert (at SA – $9,800): Needs 44.1 fantasy points. As long as water cups are kept out of Gobert’s reach, he should play more than a few minutes on Sunday. He had 44 fantasy points in 29 against the Spurs on Dec. 4. He should get more minutes here and he’s good for a big scoring and rebounding game given the matchup. He can be inconsistent, but plenty of things are working in his favor on Sunday. Diagnosis: Reliable, but I’m not sure he’ll have that monster game that he may need if the Spurs play as I think they will.

Enes Kanter (vs CHA – $7,200): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. Kanter had 47.3 fantasy points against the Nets on Sunday. He was about the only Knick to show up. And we know what Kanter can do when he gets the minutes. The minutes should be there against the Hornets because they are weak against the position. Kanter should be good for strong scoring and rebounding numbers. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and matchup. I expect him to get minutes and minutes = production for Kanter.

Brook Lopez (at TOR – $5,400): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. Lopez is playing big minutes and has turned into a reliable option throughout this season. He’s doing just enough with his scoring and rebounding and we know he can get hot from behind the arc. The Raptors are weak against the position, which helps Lopez’ case. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
