FLEX: LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills- $5,700

Defense: Los Angeles Chargers- $4,600

The Buffalo Bills fell to 4-8 after losing to the Miami Dolphins last week 21-17. That loss snapped a two-game winning streak, which was sparked by the team’s dominating performance against the New York Jets, just three weeks ago.

One player that performed at a high level in the 41-10 victory, was veteran running back McCoy. He rushed carried the ball a season high 26 times for 113 yards and two scores. McCoy’s performance against the Jets was the only game he surpassed the 100-yard mark  and the only game he scored in this year.

McCoy is easily having his worst career year. Through 11 games he has rushed for 478 yards and scored two touchdowns. His Week 14 matchup against the Jets is very appealing, especially how he performed in their first matchup.

Even with McCoy’s struggles, the Jets have allowed 1,258 yards on the ground and 11 touchdowns. On average, backs are scoring 22.7 fantasy points per game against Gang Green. At McCoy’s price value he’s worth the risk, soley because of his opponent.

It appears that we are picking on the Bengals this week because our quarterback, a receiver and now our defense will be the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bengals offense has accumulated 3,976 yards, 26th in the NFL. They are one of seven teams that are averaging less than 100 yards a game on the ground.

As a defensive unit the Chargers have been stout. Opponents are only averaging 20.8 points per game, and they have allowed 4,019 total yards, eighth best in the league. The Chargers’ defense is averaging one interception a game and have 12 total on the season, sixth in the NFL.

Since Andy Dalton got hurt and Jeff Driskel took over as quarterback, the Bengals offense has struggled. In his first start last week, the offense only scored 10 points. Over the last two games they are averaging only 15 points per game.

The Chargers should be able to dominate the Bengals on both sides of the ball, take advantage of this matchup.
