High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (vs UTA – $11,000): Needs 50.3 fantasy points. Westbrook has been over 70 fantasy points in his last two games. In the last three games where he’s played 35 minutes or more, he’s been over 70 fantasy point. I know the Jazz got thumped on Sunday, but they’ll be better on Monday. Which means Westbrook will get minutes. Which means Westbrook will get numbers. Don’t think the playoff loss doesn’t eat at him. He’ll look to put on a show. Diagnosis: It’s a personal game for Russ. Always trust him to get numbers in personal games.

Kyrie Irving (vs NO – $8,900): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. Irving’s numbers have been down a bit, but it’s only because Boston has figured things out and have started to roll on opponents. They’ve had a nice schedule, which has helped. The Pelicans are a good matchup because they should keep is close, but they don’t play much defense. Irving had 58.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 26. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup. Pelicans struggle against opposing guards.

De’Aaron Fox (at CHI – $7,600): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. The Bulls are a mess. They just got blown out by the Celtics and no one knows what the other person is doing. They are what we all expect the Kings to be every season. But the Kings are solid this year and Fox’s play is a big reason why. He’ll get numbers in this matchup and I expect a big game. Fortunately, the Kings should give up enough points to keep the game close. Diagnosis: Reliable, great matchup, high ceiling.
