FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 10, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Russell Westbrook (vs UTA – $11,200): Needs 46.9 fantasy points. Westbrook has been over 65 fantasy points in his last two games. In games that have been competitive and where he’s had to play more than 35 minutes, he’s been outstanding. Numbers are rarely an issue for Westbrook and they won’t be an issue for him on Monday. The Jazz are on a back-to-back, and while they’ll play better on Monday, it’s tough circumstances for them. Diagnosis: It’s personal for Westbrook after the playoffs last season. He’ll have a big game.
Kyrie Irving (vs NO – $8,500): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. Irving had 56 fantasy points in 32 minutes against the Pelicans on Nov. 26. He’s been fantastic during this stretch and the only reason his numbers are down is due to the Celtics blowing teams out. The Pelicans will make it competitive enough and Irving will get big scoring numbers given how poor the Pelicans defense is. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and has a high ceiling. Scoring won’t be an issue.
De’Aaron Fox (at CHI – $7,700): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. The Bulls are a mess and the Kings are…stable? Fox has shown the ability to deliver a big game this season and has a great matchup to do just that on Monday. If nothing else, he should get you value. But given the matchup against the Bulls, I fully expect Fox to have a big scoring and assist game. Diagnosis: Great matchup and Fox will deliver in it.
