FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 10, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Dwyane Wade (at LAL – $6,100): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. Wade was up to 44.2 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 8. This one is largely about the circumstances. It could be Wade’s last time in Staples and against LeBron. Because of that, you know he’ll want to deliver. And he has a habit of raising his game in these big-time situations. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a gut feeling based on the circumstances surrounding the game. Expect Wade to rise up.
Dennis Schroder (vs UTA – $5,600): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Schroder had 28.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Dec. 7. The minutes are typically there and they’ll be there against the Jazz as they’ll need his scoring against a tough Jazz defense. Schroder was brought in largely for this matchup because he can get his shot over the arms of Gobert while Westbrook attacks head-on. Look for Schroder to step up. Diagnosis: Minutes and opportunities will be there. Love him at this spot.
Jaylen Brown (vs NO – $5,100): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. Brown was up to 38.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Dec. 8. Since moving to the bench it’s seemed to light a spark under him and he’s responded in kind. The Pelicans are a great matchup because their bench is dreadful and their defense is a big reason why. Brown’s scoring has been there as of late. Expect it to continue on Monday. Diagnosis: Playing well and a great matchup as a good salary.
