High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Trevor Ariza (at SA – $5,400): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Ariza had 30.7 fantasy points against the Clippers on Monday. Ariza always gets the minutes to produce and can do a bit of everything. He won’t overwhelm, but against the Spurs, his all-around ability will be key. He’s inconsistent and maybe the back-to-back catches up to his veteran legs. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but minutes and chances are there. I’ll call him reliable.

Mikal Bridges (at SA – $5,000): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. While Ariza has veteran legs, Bridges has rookie legs. And he had 26.1 fantasy points against the Clippers on Monday. I love Bridges’ game and if the minutes are going to be there for him, I trust him to produce. And the minutes should be there against the Spurs on Tuesday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. Should get plenty of minutes and he’s proving himself as a solid scoring option.

Evan Turner (at HOU – $4,700): Needs 19.5 fantasy points. Turner has been slipping as of late, but the minutes are still typically there. And they’ll be there against the Rockets and their poor depth. Turner can do a bit of everything and has been getting it done with his rebounding and assists. Any scoring feels like a bonus at this point. Diagnosis: Gets the minutes and is rather reliable at this salary. I’m expecting a solid game out of him on Tuesday.
